After a fun few days in Vegas and bumping into a friend of Neil's from work! Next stop Hoover dam and Grand Canyon! Crazy how can be 100* at 0830am!

Amazing sight this Dam was built in 1931 taking 4 years, many lives lost in this creation...sitting on the the beautiful Lake Mead. Sure a 007 movie was film close by? Will find out lol x

Arrived safe and looking forward to a good hike tomorrow.

Another day driving many miles but this is part of the experience. Today as we drove to the Grand Canyon we took a slight detour to a the old town of William's on Route 66. Such a cute authentic town which unfortunately isn't doing great economically due to major bypasses. But this is somewhere I would visit for longer and stay. Much much cheaper for gas too....oops there I go, I mean petrol!
