Long day yesterday waiting for buses that never turned up as roads closed due to Vice President in town!!! Now 0830am after such a fun night, eating, drinking and roller coasting ....yes roller coasting at friends hotel next door the NEW YORK NEW YORK such a fun hotel! Now sitting by the pool in what feels like midday sunshine....steaming hot. Factor 50 all the way!

Vegas Baby!!!!Arrived safe last night....this place is crayzeeeee. Fancy hubby bumping into old mate from work!!! Lol... Poolside with the kids at 8am, by 8.30am moved to shade! Soo hot hot hot! But coffee in hand laying on the lounger with rock music blaring out across the pool #perfectlychilled

From Mammoth to Las Vegas a full days driving ahead stopping off at local towns (albeit maybe one store and 2 huts lol) through the breathtaking views of Death Valley...although seems like we are driving forever on one long road (only passing another vehicle every so often) this drive really is spectacular! Temp reaching 118*....

Today in Mammoth lakes we took Great hike to Devils Post Pile and Rainbow Falls. Both once again evidence of Mother Nature. The wonderful falls are a welcome area for picnics and cooling dip! Especially after a long hike in the warm weather. A beautiful waterfall within breathtaking surroundings. Devils post pile is to simply put it....'wow' a great monument made of ancient lava, that really does resemble a pile of post! This area of Mammoth lakes is lovely area...

Glacier Point...still in Yosemite but a good hours drive, feel on top of the world here. Views spectacular overlooking Yosemite Valley & Half Dome.....Next stop Mammoth Lakes....driving through mega thunder storms⚡️☔️⚡️☔️
