This weekend it was time to push the envelope and do a longer ride on the Munda Biddi. We looked for something that was better to ride in a certain direction (ie mostly downhill!) - this was important because we were riding around Mundaring Weir territory which is very hiily! Started Sunday with a very enjoyable 50 km circuit ride - started at Bibra Lake, then followed Roe Highway to Nicholson Rd, down Nicholson Rd to Canning River, loosely followed this to Kent St Weir (see album cover), out to Shelley Bridge, along river to Leach Hwy, back up Karel Ave, Farrington Rd and home. Wind was gusty so made tough riding early but had the breeze coming home. We have some great places to ride - the river foreshore was just beautiful.
