I'm here in Chiang Mai!!!!

The flight over was ok, about 1 hour but I slept for nearly all of it.

My arrival in Chiang Maj was a little stressful as there was no one there to pick me up, so I waited and waited and was just about to get in a taxi when a man runs over with a bit of paper, here was my lift half an hour late. There is a particular time zone here thai time where everywhere takes twice as long. However he did turn up and I waited for him to get the car or so I thought. He turned up with a Tuk Tuk which is basically a motorbike with a cart attached. It was an interesting ride I was clutching onto my baggage with dear life will trying not to slide out of the Tuk Tuk. I actually quite enjoyed travelling this way you get to see a lot and the air conditioning is great.

The hostel is nice I'm staying in a 4 bed dorm with 3 other girls who are doing the program. We had the induction an everyone seems very nice. We all went out for a Mexican which was good.

Time for an early night as we offer to the jungle tomorrow.
