Nothing to stop us we were on our way early. A stop in Bourke for fuel, an early lunch and a look at this beautiful building being renovated. We neared the border and stopped in to see Mrs Crawley at the Tattersalls Hotel just before the Q'ld border for a beer for Bill and soft drink for me. We met Mrs Crawley 2 years ago a wonderful elderly lady(probably mid 80's) running a pub on her own the only other people nearby across the road is some sort of a mixed business. Barringun is the town but it is actually in Q'ld. Cunnamulla was our next stop over and as Bill wishes to stay on some cattle stations this trip, I found one about 20kms from Cunnamulla thanks to Wiki Camps. Biggest problem was when we arrived there it is now Bowra - Australian Wildlife Conservancy- not quite what we expected, but a nice cheap camp around a wetlands area with many bird species to be heard not easily seen. Next morning we did a short walk along the Bore stream that gives the property hot water and also the adjoiniong property water for stock. Next morning we started our trek to see the dinosaurs.
