Today we left Jan, John Lindsay & Glenis just as it was beginning to spit rain. The light rain lasted a few hours. We travelled in the wrong direction for about 30kms so I was in trouble for my navigation and Bill was worried about runniung out of fuel. We survived. John had given me an App for my tablet "Wiki Camps" it is good and you don't need the internet to run it just a GPS. so I have had a little fun finding free camping spots with it. The country side changed again and more wildlife and even more road kill. Cobar was the major town on this part of the trip, so another fuel stop and lunch. Bill and I have travelled this road 3 times now and have looked arounbd many of these towns before. Our camp for the night was Curweena Rest area there was one other couple where we camped and 2 others closer to the road. Our small campfire kept us warm. Curween RA is approx 100 kms from Bourke,
I have so much trouble with this web site tonight, sorry you are getting 3 individual days.
