Day 6

A great filling breakfast was served at the hotel! A coach picked the students up from the hotel at approximately 8am. The group arrived at the bike and roll tour location at roughly 9am. The groups were broken into 2 set of 9. One pair rode through the tour on a tandem bike. The bike tour had many stops including a stop at Capitol Hill, The White House, The Korean and Vietnamese memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr memorial. Lunch was had a food plaza which provided a plethora of options including subway, panda express, burritos, hungry jacks, kebabs etc.

Following this, the group went to visit three Smithsonian museums with an hour spent at each. These include:

- 1. The National Air and Space Museum

- 2. National Museum of Natural History

- 3. National Museum of African American History and Culture

After that, a visit was made to Arlington cemetery to view the eternal flame of JFK and to see the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier.

Dinner was eaten at a local Italian restaurant serving huge portions of Pizza, Pasta and salads.
