Day 2 + 3 - Disney Land
Just blogging from sunny California. Up bright and early most students were having breakfast by 7am at the buffet restaurant which provided freshly cooked omelettes, to some very deliciously sweet waffles, fresh fruits, oats, potatos, bacon, just to list a few of the options available.
Breakfast was just as good and fulfilling on both of the days. The days were divided between Disneyland and California Adventures. Some of the exciting places included:
- Main street USA that lead its way to the breathtaking castle that also has the display of the spectacular fireworks.
-Adventureland which is where the iconic 'Indiana Jones,' ride can be found.
- Critter Mountain although this section had one of the most in demand rides including splash mountain it was definitely worth the wait. Nobody left this ride without having a puddle of water in their socks and a complete mess made of their hair!
- New Orleans Square - contained the well detailed pirates of the Caribbean ride and the haunted mansion, where only few braved the haunted mansion holiday ride.
Other beautiful attractions included fantasyland, mickey's toonhouse and tomorrowland.
California adventures provided a plethora of rides and well themed destinations including:
- hollywood land
- cars land
- grizzly peak
- pacific wharf
- pizar pier
-paradise gardens park
The favourites included the guardians of the galaxy mission:breakout and the incredicoaster.
The food at Disneyland was extensive providing turkey legs, burgers, corn on cobs, hotdogs, mexian just to name a few.
A trip to Disneyland is not complete without taking some photos in front of the castle and viewing the spectacular fireworks.
Dinner on the second night was eaten at the famous Denny's cafe. Again serving larger than life meals!
Photos to be added shortly.
Checking out from sunny Califonia.
