Today with Ash's stitches having been removed we're starting our trek from Hervey Bay up to Cairns as we do seem to be running out of time! It's going so quick!

The drive started off nice and easy, we had a rough idea of towns we could stop in for the night but the plan was to just see how far we could get! We then drove into the worst thunderstorm I think I have seen, actual forks of lightening right in front of us and the worst rain it wasnt showering but pumping as Olof put it! Put a bit of a downer on our journey as we had to keep pulling over as Olof literally couldnt see where the road was to drive! Dont fancy being hit by an Australian lorry, the size of them!

We got as far as Rockhampton and decided to spend the night there before continuing the next morning, it was basically just an overnight stop so we didnt see any of the place, but I dont think we missed much!
