Today we were being picked up for a day tour at an early 7 o clock, firstly we headed up to a forest for a quick walk around but did see some absolutely huge trees! Today we travelled up to the Bay of Islands, a four hour drive from Auckland, the scenery on the way up is quite impressive and pretty. The town we are staying in Paihia is a lovely seaside town, when we got here we just had enough time to check in before our "free" boat ride of the islands. After a couple of nights on the mainland in Fiji we caught our flight to Auckland, was a bit of a shock landing to 12 degrees and rain but we wanted to make the most of the opportunity to be here as we could have quite easily stayed in Fiji!
