Ol n' Ben around the world
Woke up around 07:00.
We had a good night under the stars even if a bit windy. At 07:00, Sun had obviously already risen for a long time.
Breakfast, packing, loading and we left around 08:45 to enter Sham bay.
Entering the bay, we passed by a group of 4/5 dolphins.
We kept paddling a bit to then stop on a small beach to go swimming and snorkeling.
Back in the kayak we crossed the bay to another beach where we snorkeled again and where we had lunch.
In the water Ol* spotted some clown fishes and start playing with them.
Island of Sham
Since it was rather hot on the beach in the sun, we went back in the kayak to head to the very nice Sham Island. We landed close to where fishermen store their equipment and went to the top of the island to have an overview of the surroundings
And we snorkeled again. We spent quite some time in the water: there were many fishes, corals, and other forms of aquatic life.
Campsite #2
Back in the kayaks, we paddled a very short distance to our second campsite: a very nice location, quiet, remote, with only goats as guests. A campsite where M* decided to install his sleeping bag under the tree on top of the hill.
Since our arms weren't hurting that much, we decided to go back in the kayak and accompany Marco to the next village (Maqlab) to refill the water tank.
We were just back in time at the campsite to enjoy the sunset from the top of the hill
For dinner, Marco prepared us, among other things, a great hummus that pleased everyone.
As some were going to sleep, foxes tried to visit the campsite. But it wasn't long before Marco made them quickly go away!
The wind dropped, foxes and goats were away, the silence filled the air...
