Every hotel we stayed in, we could find air conditioning and remote control to choose temperature and many other functionalities. In major cities, the remote control was accompanied by a notice written both in japanese and english. But as soon as we left those major cities, no more notice and only japanese buttons !

On the first zoom image, you can see the main screen indicating the desired temperature.
Let's start with the indications on the left hand side of the screen: the arrow points at the desired function. From the top, you have "Automatic", "Dry", "Cooling", "Heating", "Ventilation".
On the right hand side of the screen, the first line is "Wind direction", and the 3 lines below refer to the wind strength : "Strong", "Weak" and "Even weaker".
The last line below the screen means "Wind direction".

Below the grey rectangle, you can find three buttons. From the right: "On/off", "Temperature" and "Easy switch off timer".






On the second zoom image, you can see three lines of buttons.
On the first line from the left: "Function", "Wind strength", "Wind direction"
On the second line from the left: "Comfortably sleeping cooling", "Healthy cooling"
On the last line, from the left: "Timer switch on", "Back/Fwd", "Cancel".
