i am writing from a mcdonalds in switzerland. they have the internet in here. so very modern of them. we are now in lucerne, switzerland. or luzern, depending on where you are from. its a very small city. a lake and a river and wooden covered bridges and mountains. it seems unreal, that a place like this could actually exist. its a very relaxing city...i think a lot of people come to vacation here. we were supposed to go to zurich, but that turned out to be a bit too pricey for our budget. this is a cool place though, im glad we came here. its located in central switzerland and in lucerne, they speak german. today we walked along the old city wall which was built in the 14th century...clock tower and all. there were cows grazing nearby. ate some good swiss chocolate. they dont use euros here, swiss francs instead. the bills are so colorful and look fake. today rodger bought a swiss army knife and i tried to look at it but parts of it are sharp and im fearful of injuring myself. its really beautiful here and i can understand why so many people love switzerland. its pretty spectacular. today is my last day in switzerland. tomorrow, rodger and i go are separate ways. he is continuing on to interlaken, switzerland. i am hopping on a train to milan and then transfering over to florence. tuesday morning, i get on a plane and head back to the states. i cant believe how fast these past 3 weeks went. unbelievable. time is almost up here and we are going to stroll around. hope all is well back home and ill be seeing everyone soon! xoxo.
