Today we made our way from Wanaka to Queenstown. On the way we stopped at Mrs. Jones' market where she sold fresh fruit and ice cream. Then we stopped at the AJ Hacket bungy jumping office. Bungy jumping originated in Queenstown. I know what you are all wondering -- was I crazy enough to do it? Well when in Rome (or I guess in Queenstown) right?! YES I did go bungy jumping and it was amazing!!! -- I will post pictures when I return to Fremantle. After I checked into the hostel two of the girls from the tour took the gondola ride up the mountain with me. We took in the beautiful scenery -- then I jumped!!! Later I met up with tow of the girls from Australia and we went to a place made entirely out of ice, the cups, the furniture, the lights, everything!
On Thursday morning one of the girls who came to watch me bungy jumped wanted to give it a try so I went back with her while she did the bungy jump. Since we were so high up the mountain already we decided to do one of the hikes and continued climbing for another hour. We made our way back down the mountain. I spent the rest of the day exploring Queenstown. New Zealand is so beautiful pictures don't do any justice -- Queenstown is my favorite place so far.

Sister Diana Hmmmmm! It seems to me that the number of favorite places continues to increase the longer you are traveling. Can't wait to see all of the pictures. Safe return to the university for whatever finals you need to complete. Blessings!
Ann Hiking mountains, helicopter rides and bungy jumping -- you are my hero!!! So happy you are continuing to have the best time!!!
Dad I KNEW there would be another topping of the last event. It's going to be sooooo boring when you get home. Perhaps NOW some "study" in the "studying abroad"
