Hi everyone, I guess everyone has been hearing about the tsunami in this part of the world. I've only just caught up with the news this morning and can't quite believe it. My heart goes out to all those who have been directly affected. Chamika and Rajula I dearly hope you and your families are safe. As far as I'm aware the worst has been on the southern and eastern coast of India, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Indonesia. The scale and magnitude of it all- I can't quite get my head around at the moment. I am due to fly to Chennai tomorrow and out to Singapore and home on Wednesday (I got sick here in Goa last week with a urinary infection and landed in hospital for two nights and wanted to come home to recover) but now I'm not sure whether that will still happen. I need to find out how badly Chennai has been affected and whether the airport is still operating and at what capacity. will write again when I know more. love, Sonia
