We left Bangkok at approximately 6pm on Tuesday evening and boarded probably the most awful bus so far. Great news seeing as we were going to be spending an entire night on it. The air con appeared to have completely broken down, the head rests were infested with grime and dirt and the seats were about as comfortable as sitting on a bag of potatoes. We grudgingly left the paradise known as Koh Tao on Wednesday morning and proceeded with a 2 hour boat journey - this time in a catamarran which zipped nicely over the monstrous waves. The 4th of April was full moon party so on Saturday we headed off to the party island of Ko Phangan to join the 10,000 other travellers, holiday makers and down right ravers on the sandy strip of bars and clubs.
