After momentarily finding myself homeless yesterday I landed straight back on my feet. It's a good job I have connections out here! I had about a minute of panic before Mark phoned (used to be a radiographer in Leicester before training to be a dr then moving out here). Next thing I know he's offering me his car and house for the weekend until my rooms ready to move into! I've never known someone so incredibly lovely to a practical stranger. Bless his heart. ...

I've not done this bloggy thing in a while because I have nothing to report. Still don't to be honest. But at least now I've pulled my finger out and arranged to see some new apartments at the weekend. Fingers crossed then I get to stay here til then because technically I should move out on weds. One place I'm looking at has 2 Drs in, the other seems a strange pairing of an older lady and some guy. I'm rooting for the doctors! Hopefully after my night shift...

Finally arrived in New Zealand. After a bit of a detour in the air thanks to the volcano. The apartment the hospital got for me is amazing! 2 bedroom, fully equipped kitchen (Inc dishwasher!), tv, DVD player, wifi, washer & dryer. None of which I have to pay for :o) Hurrah! Reading mums comment on me being a veggie made me think. Clearly I haven't told you about me being a veggo for most of my trips on the east coast. Every trip we've been on involved steak dinners- Fraser Island, Whitsundays, the cattle ranch. And what did u get instead? Veggie patties!
