Today was day light saving so the clocks went back 1 hour soo we lost one hour sleep up bout9 ish as being picked up 10- 1030 went on net for a little bit while waiting- guy didnt turn up till 12 he forgot about the clocks.

We got on our way told us a few things about the river and the gear we will be suupied and how much fun it will be. there was 5 of us in total.

Fianlly got reaady and suited up and away we went down the Tongariro river - The river is one of nz most famous rivers- its magic waters provide fun filled roller coaster rides with exhilarating rapids, crystal clear pools and breathtaking gorges. Between the paddling and excitment . We got to see rae 'whio blue duck ( they dont quack ; tehy whislte). ancient beech forests friendly fantails and darting rainbow trout. It was a very specail place, the Most of nz they dont know they have this on there door steps. Vert spectualr, Had a good day- all tryed our best .

Got back about 5ish had some hot soup to warm us all up- and they brought us back to hostel- One of the guys ash that was in the raft asked if we would like to join him at the Britts- the spring pools- me and rae said yes. So we spent the evening at the hot springs - had a go of the slide- and had our own private rooms for awhile temp up the 40'c really warm , and very relaxing, had a good old chat and back to hostel we went and had a chinesses for dinner. Then off to bed we went after playing pool and tryed to play pocker, butno good soo went to bed, Night Pretty tiereing day
