today up early 6am as being picked up and taken to Ruapehu - nz largest ski area 1800 hectares of lift accessed terrain.

Jounery up there took 1 1/2 hours- got there and weather started to close it- very low clowd and very cold winds- a couple of the lifts where closed to the hight mont, but allowed on the lower mont- soo got already to go up and they opened. As on me own got in the cue ready to go up on me own- then a lady names Kim asked if she could join me- she from napier in NZ, Been skiing for years like veryweekend- just came back form fiji on her honey moon- she was up here with her husband- and husband napwher. She said i could join them as i did'nt really have a clue where i was going, So i did, By the tim we go up to last lift about 45 mins it took- weather closed in really bad and lift where closed- so we stoped and had a toilet break and a warm hot chocolate then we decided to ski down but you could see in front of you when you put your hand in front- thats why is called the magic mnt- as weather changes sooo qucikly.. We had to ski down with a 5 year old- just learning- but we did it all fine- the runs where really wide and lots of snow- soo it was sooo soft- not even icey- just cpuldnt see in front that well.

We skied the Whakapap side of the mnt.that has 67 trails. a lot of them are black runs,and a few blue.The whole area we was sking down is Volcanic rocks- and very active, the last time this voloanco eppurted was 1997. i Cant belive i have skied down a voloco. Never fault i would do this, well i have shame we had to stop half day as weather closed in really bad. They invited me back to there cabin as shuttle wasnt picking us up till 330pm we finished by 12. So went back for a cup of tea, and lucky enought about 1/2 afterwards i meant her father in law and it ended up being my driver for the shuttle and they where looking for me as everyone decided they have had enoguth as weather too bad to carry on- soo i got me stuff and made a move early.. Said good bye and swaped email address adn the lady was really proud of me travveling, as she done it when she was younger, and given me a few tips ect.. which was pretty cool,

While i was skiing rae went horse ridding again, on her own with a lady- which was good as she had a good and fast ride.

When got back rae was infront of tele so had a shower and warmed up a little as got very cold. Then went on net for a while and had a walk around the town and booked up white water raffting for the next day. then sat iup played pool again and bed again as really tiered after a long day.
