Today we got a taste of typical London weather - rain and gloom all day with only short bursts of sunlight here and there. Not a good call leaving the umbrella at home that morning!
We started our day in Covent Garden wandering aimlessly through the cobblestone streets and gorgeous alleyways checking out all the cute little shops along the way. We stopped at a little street stall for what may have been the best paella I've ever had - it really hit the spot on a cold wet day!
We managed to find ourselves in a 3 story Apple store and opposite that was a big car exhibition with what Brendan had to explain to me displayed some of the most exotic cars in the world! So with food and shopping for me, and Apple and cars for him - it was a fun morning!
We then made our way through Soho past all the cool cafes and theatres and checked out the shops on Carnaby and Oxford streets again. We also checked out Hamleys 7 storey toy store on Oxford street this time.
Later in the evening we caught up with Jen & Andrew (friends who moved here from Bris) and a group of their friends at their local pub in Nottinghill for dinner and drinks in great company!
