Hi everyone. We left Cedar City around lunch time to drive to Kanab and then onto Lake Powell however we had a problem with the motorhome and had to get it put onto a tilt tray and bring us to Kanab. We all jumped into the cab of the truck and Noel & Tim sat in the sleeper. Just as well they have just huge sleepers!!!!! It is something to do with the gearbox and we lost all of the gearbox oil and Noel and Tim think it has just done a seal but we'll find out for sure tomorrow when they pull it apart and have a look at it. Luckily we broke down near a house where a really lovely lady lived and just happened to be leaving home to head into work so gave Noel a lift as we had no phone reception where we were. Someone at her work knew about a company that had a large tilt tray and repair shop in Kanab - luckily that is where we were heading!!!! So we didn't get into town until around 5.30pm and we have booked into a hotel in town while they fix the motorhome - damn shame that we have to suffer such luxury for a few days. Our room has 3 queen size beds and the bathroom is about a big as our whole motorhome and yes we are all sleeping in separate beds tonight. We'll have a nice sleep in tomorrow and have a walk around town as we don't have transport and there isn't a car hire company in town so looks like we'll have to miss out on Lake Powell also. ATV riding on Wednesday and Thursday will be good though. Well off to bed in our comfy beds for now. Take care and will be in touch again soon. Love to all. Pam, Noel & Tim
