Hi Everyone!Wow what a day we had today. We were picked up at 8.30am by the transfer bus then spent the day at Brian Head Ski Resort and we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who is travelling over here. We're heading back there again tomorrow although the boys a quite sore tonight. They found every muscle they haven't used since our skiing holiday in Perisher in June 2008. The Resort is fantastic and probably about the size of Perisher and Smiggins together except with twice the amount of snow! Yes we are in spring skiing and it is still better than winter in Perisher.BUT the best part is that there is practically no one there. No lines at the lifts at all - sorry once they had to wait for the person in front of them to get on before them!I sat outside the cafeteria all day and although the wind picked up a bit this afternoon it was still really pleasant sitting out there although I have to admit I did get a bit sun and wind burnt on the section of face and neck that was sticking out. We met some lovely people there in fact I met a family from New Zealand who now live in Las Vegas (their accent was a give away and I couldn't help but comment) they came over here 8 years ago. When he retired from the New Zealand army and started working for aristocrat gaming (sound familiar Brad?) They transferred him to Las Vegas on a 2 year contract and they are still here. He's obviously making good money as they bought their house in Las Vegas and recently bought a cabin (small chalet)at Brian Head as it is open all year round - not bad hey! We're looking forward to going back again tomorrow. We are supposed to be having bad weather move in on Thursday so will probably just head off to Las Vegas rather than have a 3rd day in the snow but will see how things are going. Well we hope the rain there isn't too upsetting for everyone but at least the dams seems to be getting some of it.Take care on those wet roads. Our love to everyone. Pam, Noel and Tim
