Tuesday 17th November Today we arrived in Philipsberg, St Maarten, an island split between France & Holland. At the terminal were 2 other cruise ships & another joined us about 2 hours later. As with all the islands we visited the terminal shops all sell jewellery & watches or somewhat tatty souvenirs & the tour promoters congregate. Monday 16th November Sailed into Basseterre, St Kitts at 8 again & were off the ship by 8.30 to be assailed by the usual group of taxi touts. No problem, we asked about an ATM dispensing $US again & were pointed at the casino which opened at 9.30 so wandered around did some shopping for shorts for d*** & into the casino only to find their ATM was down. Monday 9th November A very lazy day at sea. Pretty calm & warm with a very gentle pitching & rolling motion. Jane did 4 laps of the ship at 600m per lap & d*** did 2 & complained. Friday 6th November A day at sea which was pretty quiet. We did see a dolphin & also many ships including 3 warships but the main event was stopping the ship at Gibraltar to take a sick passenger off.
