Dick's latest entry
Cremorne Point, New South Wales
Monday 13th November
This morning, after breakfast, we caught a bus to Neutral Bay, had a coffee & went on a ferry back to Circular Quay. From there we took another ferry west to Cockatoo Island, a unique part of Sydney's history. It is the largest island in the harbour & has been a convict prison, a sandstone quarry, girls home,…
Dianne Love the photos especially "moonlight at sea". Beautiful. Sounds like you have plenty of choice in way of entertainment. Keep enjoying.
re: Farewell to AuroraAlison It all sounds wonderful, so where to now and how long. Are you spending time in the U.K. It will be another small book club with yourself and De'Arn still away. Hope you are both well, Love Alison
re: Farewell to AuroraLesley gorgeous
re: ColombiaAlison Durham Love the book club sign Jane
re: San DiegoDianne Great to hear all the news. Sounds like you are having a marvellous time. Glad to hear the knees are holding up (and holding you up) Dick. Keep enjoying.
re: San FranciscoKerry Hi Jane and Dick. I am now up to date with your most recent entries, it sounds like all is going well, except for Dick's health. I do hope that he is feeling well again by now, and is no longer able to annoy Jane by coughing! Look forward to the next update Kerry xx
re: San FranciscoStephen and Helga Tomkins Dear d*** and Jane, welcome to the Atlantic World. In UK the Spring is underway, the sun is out and the garden full of flowers, but it is still a bit chilly by Perth standards. It will be good to hear from you when you get to your sister's place. Give us a ring when you are sorted. We are hoping to see you in Cambridge and will be here then so far as we know. Our news of our family in Perth is much better. We hope you have a good Atlantic crossing. Stephen and Helga.

re: San FranciscoAlison Durham Brought back lots of memories from our time in San Fran. We cycled across the bridge to Sausalito and caught the ferry back. It all sounds wonderful, enjoy. Love Alison
re: San FranciscoMoira Keep up the hard work - it's good for you, apparently. Do you want to hear that it's beautifully warm in Perth at the moment? After a very cool summer, autumn is spectacular with a string of days of around 28 - 30 degrees. Our bridge doesn't quite rival the Golden Gate though. Happy travels!
re: San FranciscoHenrietta Hope d*** is feeling better by now. Apart from that you seem to be having a great time. You are changing my ideas about cruise ships with all the interesting activities etc. Keep having fun, Henrietta xx
re: San FranciscoOwen Apia looks the same as it did in 1975, without the high rise buildings. Our Anna was born at the hospital, half way up the hill on the way to RLS's house! Brings back memories.
re: SamoaOwen Transporting as usual. In our corner of the world we are also experiencing a cold spell, unseasonal as we are supposed to be heading into Spring/Summer heat and humidity.
re: Milford SoundAlison Love reading your blogs, missed you at Bookclub. Keep up the Spanish Dick. If Jasper Jones is playing at cinema on ship it is excellent. x
re: Milford SoundPeter and Alison Hi - we are looking forward to reading in more detail your travel notes, but out first reaction was to the beautiful photos - how peaceful, yet dramatic. We think we saw the two best dressed tourists on deck... forget the shorts and t-shirts!!!! leave that to the Poms... nothing personal Richard. Alison & Peter xx
