After Byron Bay we caught the Greyhound bus to Brisbane.Unfortunately we had another bad experience as the clutched blew so we broke down. Luckily we weren't far from the bus terminal so we able to walk the rest of the way. Ozbekistan strikes again!

Brisbane is Australia's third largest city,with only Melbourne and Sydney being larger. We only had a couple of days in Brisbane so as this was going to be our last big city for a while we made the most of it by doing some shopping. After 6 months travelling our clothes were looking pretty tatty.

It was Allison's birthday on the 9th so we spent the day shopping, going to the cinema, bowling and went for dinner. We have had a few people sending us emails laughing about this but honestly after travelling for so long you really do miss doing normal things like this. Most of our time is usually spent on buses, planes, or day trips so its actually nice to do ordinary things that remind you of home. We had a great day!

Next stop Noosa to visit Steve Irwins Austrlia Zoo, Crikey!
