So after our big day yesterday and glorious weather, Dunedin turned on cold southerly winds and a big rain front. Miserable weather we woke up to and it continued all day. No way was I getting out of my warmish bed to go sightseeing! It was down to 3 degrees overnight and 5 degrees at 8am! We finally ventured out around 3pm to buy warm slippers and fleece blankets. Good on ya Kmart. Cheap and cheerful as Murray would say! Sounds like a great new Kiwi saying!
So after Kmart it is about 5:30pm and why not check out St Clair where we are very close to. What can I say? Totally freaking awesome. Huge seas, big winds, a lone surfer and just general buzzing excitement watching Mother Nature at her best! Check out the photos in full screen and enjoy!!!!
