Alreet???
So our last stop in Vietnam, and probably the most crazy place in the world.
We got to Saigon after our last sleeper bus in Vietnam, we got there very early in the morning so we got a hotel and went straight to bed. When we got up we decided to have a wander. We got about as far as Le Pub (the local) and it started hoying it down. So we did the only thing we could do, Drink. Well until we realised we had left the Bedroom window open and i had to run back and shut it, a was like a drown rat whewn a got back. But we stayed there for most of the night, and had the hardest Pub quiz in History. Had a good night though, got talking to a few Liverpool fans and a few Ozzys.
The next day we were pritty Hungover like, so we decided to go to the water park, which was amazing. Some cracking slides and a wicked Zipline, so that occupied us for a few hours, but that night we were done in so we had an early night.
The next day Gaz arrived, and lucky for him we had already got a room with three beds. After listening to him Moan for a few hours (days) we haeded for a wander around Saigon. We met a Ozzy couple who we had seem on the DMZ tour so we sat chatting to them for a bit. That night after some dinner we went for a drink, in a Garage. After Gaz had gone off to bed we headed for Le Local and met a Thibault a French guy we met the first night. It was his last night before he went back to France the next day, so we had few drinks with him. Got in about Half 1 extremely drunk.
The next day we went to the War Museam (i know), which was quite shocking like, some of the picture of the people the war effected were quite bad like. After Culture Vulture had read everything in the Museam (even the fire exit sign) he wanted to go to the Water park, so we went back. That night we headed out for a Sesh, ended up in a Club called 'Appocalipse now' a very expensive club with a lot of rich westeners in it, but the music was good and some of the stupid dancing seemed to go down well.
The next day Gaz and Rik went to the Cu Chi tunnels, basically the Viet congs Tunnels. I never went cause i knew i wouldnt go down them, so i got a weel deserved lie in. when they got back we decided to go for a curry, but not just any old curry we had to work for this one. Gaz's lonely planet had a nice curry house in it, but it was miles away, and he wanted to walk it. So after a long walk with Jack a guy they had met on the trip, a Gooner, We got there to find the curry house was not a fried chicken place. So we eventually found a curry, after about 2 hours of walking, about 100 yards from the hotel. It was bloody lovely though.
The next day we headed off to Phnom Pehn, so this is the end of a Vietnam. We have had a cracking time here but are really looking forward to Cambodia.
Sooooo Night Night Campers, See you in Cambodia xx
P.S. The Lonely Planet is an Anti Guide.
