Alreet???
We are back on the beach, and well looking forward to a few days doing nowt.
We got to Sinhoukville late afternoon, and after finding a cracking place to stay for the money we headed out down the beach. The beach was class, just a long stretch with huts serving food and more inportantly drink all the way along. Even though the walk up to it was filled with rubbish and stunk a bit the beach was still very nice. After some food and and a SSS we headed out for a night on the beach. It was bloody lovely just sitting by the sea having a beer on very comfortable seats, and there were BBQ's going on in every shack. After a few hours we headed up to where we were stopping, and ended up in a bar called Utopia. We played 'winner stayed on' pool, Me and Gaz table Champs.
The next day it was Very warm and Sunnyish so we decided on a half day on the beach. It was heaven just sittng having drink brought to us, and the sea was Crystal it was well good. Me and Rick decided to try a Banana boat, and where joined by a young Cambodian lass who spoke near perfect English. I was off the boat before it moved, in an attempt to get on i managed to jump straight over and back into the water, great. That night we went back to Utopia to regain our crown, we took it in turns between three of us this time though, after words the previous night. It was all going great until everyone decided to change the rules, first Gaz started getting annoyed with a pair of Cambodian lasses who were dancing over the pockets and just plain being annoying. Then a full scale argument between us (Me) and a Canadian bloke who was playing 'Vegas Rules', Half Wit. After that me and Gaz headed back down to the beach after Richard had retired to his Quaters, We didn't last long.
The next day it was Wet and Miserable, not a day for the beach. So after a day of just sitting about doing nothing we decided to go buy some DVD's. So we spent that night drinking water and watching 'We were Soldiers', 'Rise of the Foot Soldier' and '300'. That was a nice Gory couple of films to send us to sleep.
It was wet and Miserable again the next day so we just decided to Book the bus to Siem Reap for the next day. We headed out again that night, and Gaz wanted to go to the 'Snake Bar', so we jumped on three Moto's and headed along. We got there and the bar and pool looked great, but there was a lack of snakes. Apparently the snakes get put away at 5 (whats the point in that), but the trip was worth it for the moto ride. We headed back to Utopia after that, we didn't last long on the pool table, so we danced the night away till aorund Half 3, our Bus was at Eight.
Anyhoo Sinhoukville was a Wicked place to come, but would have been sooo much better with a bit more sun.
Soooo Night Night Campers, See you in Siem Reap xx
P.S. I've called the Orangutan Barry, and yes the place is spelt Sihanoukville.
