Hello! I've had a very exciting past few days - I am now a licensed open water diver! Over the past 3 days I've completed the PADI open water diving course which allows me to dive anywhere in the world :-D. We did 4 confined water dives (diving in shallow water near the beach) and 4 open water dives. Hello everyone! There seems to have been a problem with the blog - I've emailed them to try and sort it but no-one seems quite sure what's causing the delay. So, I made it back from the rainforest! We had a great time, although it took ages to get there (and back) - 2 1/2hrs by coach and then 3hrs by boat...but it was worth it. We started the first night with a jungle walk, and saw several beautiful spiders, a tree snake, several varieties of stick insects ...

Hello again! Well I've now made it to Malaysia and, despite all the worries about it being the rainy season here, the weather hasn't been too bad! It seems to absolutely pour down for 15mins or so, then be fine the rest of the time. Although, I am of into the rainforest this morning, so it could get considerably wetter...
