RAT's Travel Adventure

And so it begins... Arrived in Bangkok and very hot!!! After some confusion about getting our taxi we arrived at our hotel 45mins later, absolutely fab, couldnt of picked a better hotel (Viengtai Hotel). After we got settled in our room we finally mustered the courage to venture out in to the hustle and bustle of Khao San Road. What an eye-opener, restuarants, pubs, clubs, bars, market stalls as far as the eye can see. Traditional Pad Thai Noodles was the choice of the day with some chips thrown in to add to the western touch. Met two lovely guys from Sydney who we enjoyed a few bevy's with. We braved a Pat Pong show... Ping Pong it was not!!! Very eye-opening. After some time T was pleased to see a familiar face Mr Ronald McDonald himself, R was not so pleased! We were very surprised to see that at 2.00am all the hustle and bustle was still hustling and bustling it was here we experienced a live magician show on the side of the street (amazing). Monday night complete, we finally roll in at 3.00am. We wonder what tomorow will bring...
