We have been in surfers paradise for a couple of nights, its cool here, but I would say a bit tacky. Much preder Byron. Yesterday we all had a surf lesson, about half way through I twisted my ankle! Nice and swollen now which is nice. The lesson was awesome though, I was taught to do turns whilst standing on the board which I never really knew before.

Stupid ankle did mean that I missed out on experiencing surfers paradise night life, the girls said it was just like being in a club in England though. English people everywhere..

Going to Brisbane this afternoon, weather looks like might be starting to get bit rubbishy as we go north. Especially as there are floods where we are heading.. Lovely, at least not towards the fires.
