Had a pretty long bus ride to Mackay yesterday, but was very good to leave creepy Bundaberg. Arrived in Mackay at midnight, and had to try find our hostel. We were given very bad instructions, which meant ali and I were wondering around the town (where everything was shut) for ages with our backpacks. Eventually we found two girls who were also trying to find the hostel, and they were sensible enough to have a map!!! So we got there in the end.

Mackay is pretty nice, but quite small and not much here excpet a shopping mall and a river! But still, we are only here for one more night and then off to Airlie beach tomorrow. Not much to report though, as we havent really done much here.
