Rainbow beach was NOT a fun experience. We arrived there yesterday afternoon in the pouring rain, looked at the beach, which looked kind of nice but as it was such a horrible day we basically just stayed in the hostel all afternoon. Watched a few films on Ali's brothers laptop. Chris and Karen were travelling with us for a few days, and drove us up to rainbow from noosa so we wouldnt have to get the bus.

Today we got up, had a healthy fry up and went down to the beach (sun was out at this
point) and started to walk the 35 minute walk to the rainbow coloured cliffs
part of the beach. After about 5 minutes of climbing over rocks and being soaked by waves, the Heavens opened, and OH MY WORD did it rain.
It was the kind of rain that completed soaks you afer about 30
seconds. We turned around and ran back. We all got so so so so wet,
everything in my bag was soaked through too. Lucky my phones didnt break!

The worst thing was that we had already checked out from the hostel so all our clothes where packed deep into chris's car (they drove us to hervey bay today) So, i had to strip down to my bikni and sit in the car for 3 hours wrapped in a towel, which was nice!
