Before leaving the Navimag ferry I had decided that I wanted to go to the Chilean island(s) of Chiloé and there were 4 others going so we got the bus to Castro together. Didn't do that much on Monday 19th- sorted out Torres del Paine photos (am very behind on organising photos) and uploaded very, very slowly to FB. Went for a walk in the town, checked into Navimag, got some socks (half my socks seem to have disappeared!) and got some travel sick tablets (hopefully won't need but if I didn't buy them I would need them!). On Sat 17/3 I got the bus to Puerto Natales at 8.30am meaning I'd be crossing back into Chilean Patagonia. We arrived there at about 2pm and I spent some time investigating possibilities for shorter hikes in the Torres del Paine National Park which is a famous National Park with excellent hiking. Tues 6th March- Well I arrived in Puntas Arenas earlier that the schedule said- I was there by 4pm. The flights were fine- we stopped of in 2 places to drop off and pick up passengers and changed planes in Santiago. The views from the plane were great- of the mountains and also many lakes.
