Today we left New Orleans after another yummy breakfast of waffles! We drove about 1.5 hours in order to go on a swamp tour, we had a slight detour as we saw an alligator on the side of the road! Today was my favourite day so far! We went and explored New Orleans (after I had gotten far too excited over the continental breakfast where I made my first ever waffle and loaded up my bag with goodies for the day ahead!) On the 2nd September we packed up camp quite early and got on the road about 8. Today was an experience....it was Labour Day which meant that everyone had the off of work. There is another group doing the southern sun tour, their tour guide is called Aaron and he has family who live just outside New Orleans. So we went to his family's house for a BBQ! Today we headed to Tennesse, after setting up camp we went white water rafting which was epic! It was so much fun but so scary! Many times down the river I grabbed hold of our rafting guide! I'm not sure if he appreciated this but it made me feel much safer!
