Hello all,

Got to KL on the 8th Jan after we spent the whole day on probably the most comfortable bus so far through our journey. The Bus journey was only supposed to be 6 hours but was more like 9/10 hours because of all the stop offs en route.

Anyhow, we got to Kl about 9pm and started our short walk to chinatown for some cheap accomodation (only 2 minutes actually), when Mush spotted the food we craved the most..NANDOS!!! (so that was dinner sorted), checked into Wheelers guesthouse which was located in the heart of ChinaTwon opposite the 'Reggae Reggae Bar'. Checked in and myself and mush went to check out the rooftop sunset bar, great view of the KL tower all lit up from there so we set purselves up for the night witha can of 'Timor'. That night we went Nandos, had a little walk downtown and ended up at the reggae bar for a few drinks..fileld with Aussie folk..Mush loved it.lol

the enxt day we thought we would see what KL had and started the day by visiting the twin towers shopping mall in the hope of finding some bargains, not really but we did find the indoor roller coaster which was awesome. That night we went to Little India for a meal and then headed to the Petronas Towers to get those pictures everyone gets!! ina ll hosesty this building is awesome, at night when it is all lit up it si worth it! Later on that night we headed to what we were told was the most happenin bar in Planet Hollywood, got there and it was PANTS!! only 3 customers drinking who were outside, lol so we thought more and headed to the Beach Bar!! This place was packed as it was Malaysian Public holiday but had an awesome time!! Live band, and loadsa beer...lol

Following day was all about the Batu Caves and the Pain in the Arse Monkeys (yes Shu), The caves are cool as they are hidden within a Cave, i presumed the actl temple inside would be large but it was about the size of a king size room, lol. the cave however was Ma-His-Ive!!! Didn't see no Bats FORTUNATELY but did get a glimpse of the monkeys and they really are up to no good. Saw one try and attack someone, i shat it! and another chased some bird and took her shopping..lol. At the bottom, me and rik were greeted witha dog licking his A-hole, not what you woul expect at such a religious place but OH WELL!! That evening we got a little mash up at our Sunset bar and said bye to Rick who was leaving the next day.

After walking Rick bacj\k to his stop we said bye and headed back to Twin Towers Mall, where we had a game of Ten Pin Bowling, Mush took the first game but i shone through and won the second game so Convincingly!! lol. The evening saw us up at the roof top again...chilling with the locals, guys were hillarious, well one was who was being chased by the police for smuggling...lol

the next morning which was teh 14th we left to go on to Teman Negara, the worlds oldest rainforest with stories in my mind off the leeches :(
