Hi all! Hope everyone is well.

We are currently in Sydney having left our tour on friday evening. that night we checked into our hostel, after some dodgy bookings managed to get a room. It was called the Funk House Backpackers in the middle of Kings Cross. The name should have arisen some questions as to what it would be like!! Kings Cross is known as the drug and red light district of NSW if not the whole of oz!! We had a tiny box room that looked out over the main high street so we had some interesting views!

Have seen lots of Sydney over the last couple of days, including the opera house, tower, harbour bridge and other interesting sites. We also went to Bondi beach yesterday walking 2.5km along the coast, although up and down steep hills it felt like 25 miles!!

Today we are off to see the aquarium, Darling Harbour and the rocks before catching the train to the blue mountains tomorrow.

Oh and also how can we forget, the other night we went to see an aussie rules footy match!!!! we were given the Sydney Swans merchandise hat included in the price of the ticket so we atleast looked the part!!! It was even in the olympic stadium!!!
