Hellooooo

Afer a chilled out time in galveston we had a four hour drive to San Antonio... The home of the Alamo! Once again it was very hot when we arrived at the campsite so we got in the pool to cool off before an early dinner.

We got into the city about six ish just as it was coming alive. The city from street level looks a bit strange with world records museum and indiana jones rides.. Bit like a small universal. However this is broken up but the alamo building which gave it a bit more culture.

Without a doubt the best thing was the river ride. If you go bellow street level there is a whole river system with restaurants and bars along it. We all went on a river boat ride just as sun was setting. It was stunning and all the places looked so fancy and the food smelt amazing.. Ben and i agreed that if we become rich we would go back and eat there. Afer the ride ben and i took a romantic walk next to the river. I got a huge ice cream the was in a choc covered waffle bowl mmmmm.

The four ozzy guys on our trip found a sports bar to watch their football final.. I left ben there and went to and irish bar with 3 of the girls. It was called dirty nellys and there were buckets on monkey nuts on the table, you were allowed to throw the shells on the floor which we found most fun.

After nutty fun we joined the boys to watch some of the game.. I kind of understood the rules but i just cheered when they did. However it started to get late so a few of us headed back to camp as we had an early start the next day.
