Hello everyone

Sorry for the lack of blogs.. Finding good connection is proving hard. Anyway, we left the beaty of new orleans and had a bit of a drive and entered the lone star state of texas. Our first reaction was HOT!! We drove out to Galveston island.. Our campsite was right next to the beach.. The sun was shining but it was sooo windy that putting up tents was a bit of a mission. But as we are now experts we did it in no time.

As soon as the tents were up everyone got into their swim stuff for some fun in the sea. The gulf of mexico was a fair bit warmer than brighton beach lets put it that way. We spent most of the afternoon splashing around n playing in the waves.

When dinner time came the weather took a turn for the worse.. No rain but amazing bolts of lightning lit up the sky and for a while they were very close. But it soon settled down n cleared up. We all went down to the beach in the dark looking for crabs. Must say it was very funny chasing after the little things with a torch down a big beach.

We all woke up about half six to watch our last east coast sunrise. It was so beautiful seeing it next to the sea in the warm weather. The guys went in for a morning swim where as i prefered to just have a shower even with the risk of huge spiders..snakes n moths.

It was a quick but chilled out stop. Just what we needed.
