ok well i flew to samui and checked into charlie's huts on koh samui. It was well what can i say basic and the toilet stank!! Oh well what do u expect for 300 baht a night. I did, however, have a night time visitor he was dark but i cannot say that he was handsome - it was about the size of a small cat and went by the name of RAT!! It ate my banana the 1st day - hairy lil b*****! So i spent my time on the beach and just chillin out. The place was absolutely full of couples so i only stayed there 2 nites - i went on some cable rides the second day which was loads of fun. The treehouse bases were bout 50m high and they did wobble occasionally. The driver was a nutter and drove us up these bloody great big mud hills like a maniac so had to hold on tight there. So samui was a beautiful island but just a lil quiet and not many young backpackers there. So on sunday i headed to koh tao to do my open water diving course. i stayed ar\t Big Blue the diving resort and started my course on sunday and finished on wednesday. I did it with a german girl called christina and also met her two frineds she was travelling with so i hung out with those 3 the majority of the time - it was fun but they were q quiet girls so didint really go out much. But that was fine with me as had a bad cold on monday and was unsure whether or not id make the dives as my ears hurt alot when i went down. My instructor was super nice and q crazy really but it made me relax more. I had so much fun diving and saw loads of lil fishies but i didnt see a turtle so a lil annoyed there but there are plenty more chances for me to see them. Im now qualified to go down to 18m but i wanna do my advanced course so i can go to 30m but i have to wait until my cold surpasses as dont wanna ruin my ear drums! I did however miss going to the full moon party as i was doing my diving - oh well im sure my body didnt need a whole night of alcohol especially being that im ill! So today i checked out now im waitin to get my ferry at 21.00 but it is monson season here now and the weather has been awful today so hoping that the ferry will run later. When i checked out earlier they tried to charge me 200 baht extra for accommodation apparently but i had already paid it so i had mass arguement with the staff lady and inthe ned the manager came over and i stuck to my guns but in the end i paid it and she gave me a free breakfast so i was only out bout 80 baht whihc is bout 1 pound but that is alot here!!! So im heading to karbi tomo - hopefully my ears will be sorted so i can do my advanced diving there - woo!!
