Namaste Everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well. I thought Id give you a brief update on my status (when the site says "we are in ...." it really should mean Niki is in where ever and I am stuck in Kharagpur). Even though Id much rather be traveling with her, things have gotten much better around campus and I am starting to really enjoy my time here. Ill give you a detailed update later but for short - I moved into a much better aka cleaner, room than the prison cell (no joke) I was in, and my projects are moving forward as well. Everything is different here and it takes a definite adjustment period - you have to throw out all your expectations of how things should run and settle into doing things their way and on Indian time (which is atleast 10x longer than ours). Its definitely a good experience though - traveling, working, just surviving here - it changes you. From what Ive seen it takes a lot to get through India and its not for everyone but it can be the most incredible place sometimes.

Just so you know I have most of the pictures from Nepal and Northern India and Im trying to upload them when I can. Look for new ones soon.
