ok so the last time i spoke to u guys i was in jaisalmer and heading on a camel safari.... with teh two girls i met on the bus from jodhpur roni and erin..
how do u desscribe: sleeping on the dunes under the star with a full moon....the weather was perfect we had a fire going and some local people came and played the sita , flute and sang traditional rajasthan desert songs it was wonderful... in the moon light we watched black bettles walking on the dunes this way and that way leaving there foot prints dont know if they had a goal but they left beautiful patterns in the sand. the sand here also is very fine and soft i stupidly forgot to collect some to bring home...
the only down side to the trip was actually the camels they are so not comfortable i have a sore on my but from where it rubbed ( im sure u all wanted to know that) my camel's name was carl he had a very strong personality often side tracking to get some food off a scrub or tree. he also had to wear a muzzle as he liked to bite the other camels...
it was interesting watching the camel drivers with camels at nite... the take off all the harness and saddle equipment and then tie the two front feet together so they cant get to far... it worked but the camels did look fun walking with there two front feet tied.. they looked like women wearing really high heels and therefore only able to take small steps...
our driver Mr Khan was great and managed to make a delicious meal with cabage potato and tomato.
but in the end it was great bet back my arse could not haddle anymore
heading to undipur on a night train and the a day bus yayay
