May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand. Irish Blessing The bus ride to Killarney was really long. I had to stop in Limerick for an hour, and then transfer on to another bus. When I got to Killarney at 4pm, it had been raining all day. When I got off the bus, I decided to look at the local map on the wall of the bus station to figure out how to get to my hostel. There was a girl looking behind me as well with her notepad open and Paddy's Palace written inside. I mentionned to her that I was going there, too. The moment I starting speaking to her, her face turned white, and in a broken English she said that she did not speak much English. I knew right away that she was French, and immediately switched to French. I heard a sigh of relief. From my accent, she knew I was from Quebec. Her name was Anaïs, and she was in Ireland to volunteer on a farm for three months to learn English. It is a special program called WWOOF. She was just travelling around a little before she started. We walked together to the hostel. Once we got to reception, I met Shawn, one of the two staff members there. His brother, Karl, was also working there. They were two Australian twins that had just celebrated there 25th birthdays during the weekend. I had heard of these guys in Galway and knew they were really fun guys. I knew Kate (the crazy Aussie from Galway) was staying at the hostel as well, and I ended up seeing her in the living room. TO BE CONTINUED...
