Hue 22/10/2008.

Hue is lovely. It used to be their main city but now its their 3rd. Its really old and not much has changed in 1000 years. It has an inner city surrounded by a massive 15' wall and then inside that another private town for the old emperor when he wanted a bit of alone time.

We only stayed here for a day beacause once you walked around and saw all the old sites that was about it. Nothing else to do.

We went to the same company travel agency as where we booked our bus tickets and asked if we could get put on the bus for tomorrow to go Dang Nang. They told us that we couldnt beacause the ticket we paid for only let us go to 3 destinations. They said the person in Vinh lied to us.

We wasnt happy. We had an argument with this bloke who wasnt doing anything to help us and he didnt even care. The phone kept ringing and he kept answering it. After the 3rd time of him doing this i hung the phone up and told him to stop messing about in my best angry voice. He was scared. After about 20 seconds the room was suddenly full of locals who were ready to do some Jackie Chan moves on us so i piped down a little bit and tried to puff my chest out. It didnt work and we walked out with our origional crap tickets.

We went out that night and had dinner and two drinks each in a bar for 4 quid befoere being sad and getting an early night cos our bus was picking us up at 7 for our next trip to Hoi An in the morning.
