I'm in Warriewood and I leave in 8 days. Busy packing, ticking off 'to do' lists and saying goodbye. I find goodbyes really hard - it seems silly to express to people how important they are to me and how wonderful I think they are when I may well see them very soon... I find that in everyday life people take each other for granted - of course it's never deliberate, but just a by-product of the day to day plod-along.

Mendo has said that he is excited... Mendo is never excited over a week before an event, so that's really saying something. I'm also very excited and a fair bit nervous since I haven't seen him in over 2 months. Seeing Mendo. Travelling a very foreign country. Relocating our lives half way across the globe. My life is about to have a tornado tear through it and I can't wait!
