Woke up in Pisco and visted the harbor for breakfast. Horrible fishy smells from nearby chciken feed factory. Then we got the bus for three hours to Lima. Arrived in Lima and walked around taking in the center then went out for a final meal as a group. After the Colca canyon we took a night bus from Arequipa to Nazca, sight of the famous nazca lines. These are huge designs in the dessert made a long time ago. No ones sure why. We visted a nearby cemetary with ancient tombs and then got a flight over the lines in a small 5 person plane. From Ariqepa we set off for a night and two days in te Colca canyon. Nice place where we did a hike to some tombs then bathed in a hotsprings. In the morning we got up early to go watch some condors whcih was beautiful then we drove back to Arequipa to celebrate Phils birthday. Oldest in the group just turning thirty. Had a great night partying with the group.

Greetings all. Just got back from the Inca trail which has possibly been the best thing so far. 4 Days hiking at altitude with some tough climbs but not too hard and in the most amazing area. Up in the Andean Mountains with lots of ruins, different environments and beautiful views. Glaciers, rivers, jungle, rolling mists and feeling like you could touch the sun. Have spent the last few days in Cuzco, the Inca Capital. Been having a great time, seeing things and going out. Its very touristy here, you get alot of hassle walking down the streets but free drinks and good food. Some places even sell t shirts saying no gracias, no thanks to all the stuff you get offered. Went rafting yesterday which was great fun and tomorrow i set off to do the inca trail. Looking forward to it. Love nick x
