Day 1

We hired body boards today and headed for the beach, we spent the day in the water on our boards and sunbathing. we said bye to Ruth, who was leaving! then there was 2 - rachel and sarah! (the 2 crazy ones). we headed out for tea tonight - a break from cooking - brilliant lasagne chips and salad. lazy night chilling and bed. (Bryon bay is a really chilled out hippy town.)

Day 2

Today we went on 'Jims adventure tour' to nimbin! - small town - big repretation! We got picked up at 10.30am and headed to nimbin. Our bus driver Dougie was a 60 year old self acclaimed hippy! - he was away with the fairy's. We arrived in nimbin - bascially nimbin town is one street - full of cafes and shops, anything to do with cannabis or hippy's. We were offered drugs our every step! any one for a nimbin special cookie? we got back on the bus - next stop hippy pauls house in the jungle. If we thought dougie was off his box, not sure how to describe paul! strange creature to much weed, killing brain cells . He took us for a walk through his forest, then we gladly got back on the bus. we stopped at a waterfall on route back to bryon. Today was an education!

Day 3

We decided to get up at 5am to go and watch the sunrise at the byron lighthouse, we ran to it as it meant longer in bed. We got there for 5.30am, we were told sun rises between 5.30 and 5.45am. today it came up at about 5.28am - we missed it ha ha! wasn't funny at the time. The sky still looked colourful and the view good, but we missed it rise above the sea, then it went behind clouds, gutted! we ran back. we spent the rest of the day catching up on missed sleep at the beach. Big night out planned for tonight - drinks at the girls room 8pm followed by more drinks at the towns club -cheeky monkeys! we had a great nite out, big gang of us, this was followed by nicky having the attack of the munchies, on route home we stopped at the bakery (yep at 2.30am they have bakery's open!!! - she opted for steak pie and a gingerbread man! sorry gingerbread person got to be PC! ye right!!!!!!ha ha (can you believe in oz they don't have brown sauce! whats that all about)

Day 4

Another chill out day at the beach- (common theme happening here? hey it's a hippy town, thats what you do!)
