The day of the kangerooski! We went on a hunt... and found thousands of kangeroos! 1million and 13 to be precise. Big ones. Small ones. Tired ones. Even some boingy ones! All about a 30k drive outside of Canberra in Tidbinbilla nature reserve. There was one on the road just outside of Canberra too, which was a tad exciting to say the least. We did see a very sad looking wombat on the roadside on the way home too... looking slightly less fortunate than the earlier...

I made it to Canberra! Very exciting. Managed to swoop down on some Australian tv station whilst leaving Sydney, may have acted the 'typical tourist' by waving behind the presenters. I got a cheeky wave back from them, so not all bad. Very good trip down on rackerty old bus number 1 (i'm sure they'll be many, many more to come!) to Canberra, and arrived during a monsoon, which soon bizarrely became a warm sunny afternoon. The natural wonder that is Singapore airport! Very swish indeed. One flight down, one to go. Sat next to happy couple and snorey man. Good, and not so good! They also wrapped my breakfast in foil. GRR! Oh well, mum you'll be glad to hear I didn't miss the flight for being in the pub, just temporarily lost my watch and phone! Found them again (in my bag).
