The way the political prisoners were tortured and the horrible conditions they lived in were shocking. When it showed you the POWs of the Vietnam-American war, it showed them having fun at Christmas and living a good life. Hey. I arrived in Nanning this morning on the sleeper bus. It was OK. It had 6 beds on each row where it would normally be seats (3 bunk beds). I could fit fine, it had air-con. Good nights sleep.
