Yo.

So I got to Georgetown. The train wasn't bad. Met these 2 English girls and just spent 24 hours sleeping, eating, watching films on the iPod listening to music and reading...

Caught the ferry over to Georgetown (Penang) which is well cool. Staying in a nice dorm for cheap, and met this girl called Sarah from England. We went for a drink on the 1st night and was out for quite a while.

Drinks in Malaysia are expensive as its a muslim country. Damn!

Second day I rented a motorbike and drove round the entire island after dropping Sarah off at the beach. I needed a licsence to rent a bike, so I gave the guy my provisional, and he took it.

I think the reason you needed a licsence was because there are lots of cars on the road (as opposed to mianly bikes in Vietnam Cambodia, Laos etc...) and so its harder to ride which I soon learnt.

Anyway I had a good day just riding round. Went to a temple and butterfly centre (which had lots of insects, scorpions, snakes etc... and was quite good). Riding down the West coast was constant bendy roads high up for about 20km...It was mint. And the views were breathtaking.

Went out with Sarah again that night and stayed up talking for a while - And now I'm heading down to Kuala Lumpur, just for a day, then onwards to Singapore...Hope its all good.
